Miss Rodeo Okotoks 2010
Kenna Lockwood
Kenna Lockwood is 23 years old from Calgary, Alberta. She has studied Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge, Business at the University of Athabasca, and taken General Studies at Mount Royal College and The University of Calgary.

Kenna started riding at a young age on her grandparent's ranch south of Longview. She is a competitive show jumper having competed at Spruce Meadows and in the California winter circuit. She has also carried flags for grand entries in Strathmore and at the Canadian Finals Rodeo.

"I want to increase my experience in the rodeo circuit and do what I can to help promote and advertise rodeo in Canada."

Kenna has volunteered with J and K Horse Sport and the Calgary Polo Club exercising horses as well as helping with pony rides at the Magic Rodeo at the Canadian Finals, and would like to one day start her own therapeutic riding facility.

Kenna's new ideas for promoting rodeo in Canada would be to promote jackpots for young athletes; making the public more aware of amateur and high school rodeos; and setting up clinics with professional athletes for children to learn about rodeo.
